Caldera has undergone major changes in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update, and players are delighted to see that Raven Software have finally fixed the problem with the map’s visibility.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 has finally arrived, bringing a plethora of changes like a Double XP token changeweapon buffs and nerfs, as well as new additions like the Sabotage Contract and Season 3 Battle Pass.

The new update also brought map changes to Caldera with new POIs being added for players to explore. The developers also used this update to fix a problem that has affected Caldera for months.

The arrival of the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update made Caldera’s skies darker than usual. As a result, the colors are less bright, and the atmosphere is set for the Operation Monarch event.

Reddit user ‘Mrheadshot0’ praised this change in the Warzone subreddit, stating that the map now looks “amazing.” Many of the commenters shared this sentiment, claiming that the update improved visibility on the map.

One user commented: “Who would have thought making the map much darker would actually make everything so much easier to see lmao. Great change.” Another commenter claimed that the darker theme makes Caldera resemble the fan-favorite Verdansk map.

Aside from making the skies darker, the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update also removed much of the jungle foliage on Caldera. As a result, there are fewer shadows being cast by trees, making it easier for players to see their surroundings.

Caldera was designed to be a bright and tropical location, but the commenters feel that this darker theme is more visually interesting. One user wrote: “Yeah, I gotta say I like the color scheme. [It] looks so much more gritty.”

When Caldera was first introduced, it received criticism from Warzone players for its numerous visibility issues. This new update seems to have resolved this problem, and players are enjoying the map changes.
