Caldera isn’t the only new aspect that arrived in Season 1 of Warzone Pacific as Fighter Planes are quickly catching the attention of players.

The launch of Warzone Pacific Caldera has had its fair share of issues. Some texture problems have made the game nearly unplayable while others are straight-up disappointed with this new chapter of Warzone.

As soon as Warzone Pacific launched on December 8, players were eager to try the new Fighter Plane vehicles.

These nimble aircraft are equipped with turret-like weapons that can fire at enemies. As the clip from professional Warzone player “Almond” shows, Fighter Planes may require some fine-tuning.

You can see Almond’s surprise as he eviscerates player after player. Not only do the turrets kill incredibly quickly, but the aiming mechanism allows Almond to essentially lock on to enemies. If you get to a Fighter Plane straight away, you can destroy helpless enemies that have yet to hit the ground.

The fact that Fighter Planes can be so destructive at the start of a match is a huge issue. Luckily there are several ways to fix this problem.

For starters, removing the red icons that highlight enemy players in the sky could make identifying them more difficult. In addition, the turret damage and aiming stability could use a reduction.

If you haven’t flown a Fighter Plane across Caldera you may want to test out your piloting skills. Luckily the scenery should quickly improve as Raven have offered a temporary solution to fix texture issues that ruined the launch experience for many.
