Warzone 2 features equipment like Semtex that can be used to dish out explosive damage to enemies, and players are calling for the developers to make major changes.

When you hop into Warzone 2, you’ll want to equip the best weapons if you want to secure kills in Al Mazrah with great ease, and picking the right equipment can also turn the tide of the battle in your favor.

When it comes to choosing equipment, you’ll find no shortage of great options, including explosives like the Thermite and Drill Charge. However, Warzone 2 players feel that the explosive equipment could use improvements.

Reddit user ‘Justice171’ shared a clip of their gameplay in the Warzone 2 subreddit, and it showed them successfully sticking an enemy with a Drill Charge. The equipment then exploded, only for the enemy to survive the blast and win the gunfight.

The Redditor was frustrated that the enemy was able to tank the blast and take them out. They posted: “Hey devs, can we agree that if Drill Charges can drill through thick walls, they can also kill a player if you stick them?”

Many of the commenters agreed with this sentiment, with one user jokingly stating: “Attaches to their body, drills into their abdomen and pushes a grenade through to the other side where it explodes… but a flesh wound.”

Another player added: “It’s hard to stick someone. Therefore, if you stick anyone, it should be an instant down. and if you stick someone that’s downed it should be an instant kill.” Several commenters stated that this should also apply to Semtexes and Thermites.

Sticking a downed opponent with a Thermite doesn’t even finish them off, which is extremely frustrating to players. The majority of Warzone 2 fans in this thread were in agreement that the developers should makeexplosive equipment instantly takes out enemies if you’re able to stick them.

One player suggested that it should at least paralyze enemies for a brief duration. At the time of writing, it remains to be seen whether or not the Warzone 2 developers will make these changes to explosive equipment, and we’ll be sure to update you if they do.
