Will NICKMERCS return to Warzone? He addresses whether he will return to CoD when Vanguard releases.

NICKMERCS is a massively successful streamer on Twitch who rose in popularity playing Fortnite. However, his viewership skyrocketed when he left for Warzone.

Many streamers, including TimTheTatman and Tfue, followed suit. But after the recent invasion of hackers spoiled the fun of Warzone, NICKMERCS switched to Apex Legends.

Many other popular streamers also jumped ship, but Warzone still maintains a loyal following. As such, a lot of NICKMERCS’ fans want him to return to Warzone. With the upcoming release of CoD: Vanguard, will we see the return of NICKMERCS to Verdansk?

Will NICKMERCS return to Warzone?

In a new video, Nick discusses with his chat whether or not he will return to Warzone. And for the moment, his answer is no. Nick stated, “I use to play Warzone, and I have zero desire to get on that game. I don’t wanna play it. I don’t wanna play tournaments in it.”

While all hopes for NICKMERCS’ return seem lost, he did give viewers a glimpse of hope. “When the new one comes out, am I gonna try it? Absolutely. But for right now, Nah.”

Call of Duty: Vanguard releases on November 5, 2021, and will integrate into Warzone with a new map and PC anti-cheat, so we could see NICKMERCS return to CoD around that time. However, he did state at the beginning of the video that his expectations for the game were low.

“The last time we went back in time for a Call of Duty was WW2, and it wasn’t very much fun if I remember right.” He stated that he was optimistic and down to try something new, but we will see how long his return lasts come November.

Of course, the biggest issue NICKMERCS and other streamers have with Warzone is its many hackers.

A new anti-cheat system will be put in place sometime this year following the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

This anti-cheat may draw former players like NICKMERCS back to Verdansk. Still, for now, fans will have to wait and see if the popular content creator will indeed come back to the Call of Duty battle royale.
