Crazy Warzone RC-XD glitch is costing players victories

RC-XD in Warzone

Warzone players should avoid the RC-XD streak in Call of Duty’s battle royale mode, as a bizarre glitch with the explosive remote-controlled car is costing players matches.

Using streaks in Warzone can be the difference between victory and defeat. A UAV can help find enemies, Cluster Strikes can wipe out squads, and the RC-XD can take down opponents nearby without the need to face them yourself.

Having all these tools in your arsenal can be huge for your team, but if you’re a fan of the remote-controlled explosive on wheels, you may want to think twice before you call one in again. As some unfortunate players have discovered, rather than helping you win, it may actually cost you.

Since the Season 4 update, players have been reporting a strange glitch where they get stuck looking at the handheld screen for the remainder of the match.

In a video uploaded by /u/Evening_Positive9001 to the CODWarzone subreddit, the player can be seen hunkering down and calling in their deadly toy. After driving around for a few moments, he eventually discovers an enemy and detonates, knocking the opponent down and leaving an easy kill.

Unfortunately, a strange bug with the streak meant Evening_Positive9001 got stuck staring at the computer screen they use to drive it, unable to look away or pull out a weapon.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way for players to fix it themselves right now, so to be safe it’s probably a good idea to not purchase an RC-XD at the moment, otherwise you could find yourself in a similar predicament.

Raven Software have yet to acknowledge this bug, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with any new information about possible fixes.
