Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded update

Call of Duty: Vanguard devs Sledgehammer Games released an update on June 2 that adjusted the Volk Assault Rifle and addressed bugs related to Dead Drop and the H4 Blixen in Season 3 Reloaded.

Vanguard players did not receive a ton of content following the Season 3 Reloaded update, but the devs continue to address issues by releasing updates on a regular basis.

On June 2, a brand-new update hit Vanguard, providing weapon balancing changes for the Volk, as well as fixing bugs that were causing issues with the Dead Drop Field Upgrade and H4 Blixen SMG.

Vanguard Volk adjustments & bug fixes

Volk Vanguard Assault Rifle

The Volk has been one of Vanguard’s best Assault Rifles for a few seasons now, as it excels as a close-range hybrid SMG. It even made its way onto our list of best Vanguard Ranked Play loadouts during Season 2.

Vanguard devs have decided to adjust the weapon by nerfing its vital damage from 56 to 39. This is quite a significant nerf to its damage, but it also received a buff to sprint to fire time.

Meanwhile, a glitch preventing the H4 Blixen‘s Mk. 8 Reflector attachment from unlocking has also been addressed. In addition, players will no longer be rewarded for killstreaks they do not earn while using the Dead Drop Field Upgrade.
