Vanguard Season 4 has brought the UGM-8 LMG, and here’s how you can create the best loadout for it using the optimal attachments, equipment, and Perks.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 4 has brought some new content for players to enjoy. Not only are round-based Zombies’ fans being blessed with Shi No Numa, but those who love Multiplayer are also being given a new map and weapons.

As well as the Marco SMG, which is shaping up to be a great weapon in the close-range meta, players were also gifted the UGM-8, which can be deadly with the right attachments.

Here is the best loadout you can create for the UGM-8 LMG in Vanguard Season 4.

Best Vanguard UGM-8 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Bernard XL214 736MM
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Bernard Forte VII
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5MM Sakura 125 Round Box
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Tight Grip
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

First off, the Recoil Booster will increase the weapon’s fire rate, which is already one of its strong points, making it even faster.

As for the Barrel, the Bernard XL214 736MM is a vital attachment for the UGM-8, as it greatly increases the recoil control and accuracy for long-range, as well as increasing the fire rate once again.

The Bernard Forte VII Stock and M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel will both provide you with a boost in accuracy and recoil control, which is very useful for hitting your first few shots and staying on target.

Further, as this is an LMG, the 6.5MM Sakura 125 Round Box will allow you to shoot for days without worrying about reloading, which is vital when you’re bunkered down with this weapon in a dominant position. To counter the extra weight, the Fabric Grip provides some mobility.

Vanguard UGM-8 best Perks & Equipment

vanguard ghost perk
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Radar
  • Perk 3: Lightweight
  • Lethal: Mk2 Frag Grenade
  • Tactical: Stim
  • Field Upgrade: Dead Drop

Staying off the Radar is vital in any Call of Duty Multiplayer, and as this UGM-8 loadout still allows for some decent mobility, Ghost is great for Perk 1. Radar is a fan-favorite as it allows players to locate enemies more efficiently and let you know where the opponents are coming from, allowing for better positioning.

Lastly, Lightweight increase the mobility and speed of the loadout, which is very important when running a heavy LMG which can slow you down without it.

As for the Equipment, we’ve opted for the Stim to increase survivability and the Mk2 Frag Grenade, which is a reliable tactical for damage. The Dead Drop Field Upgrade is also great, as it prevents you from losing your Killstreak on death.

How to unlock the UGM-8 in Vanguard

The UGM-8 LMG can be unlocked by reaching tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. This is a free Battle Pass tier, meaning all players will be able to unlock this weapon once they reach the required level.

All that is required is XP, so if you’re interested in unlocking it fast, check out when the next Double XP event is.

Best Vanguard UGM-8 alternatives

As the UGM-8 is a fast-firing LMG, the best alternative is something like the Bren, which is slower firing but packs a lot of punch.

Or, if you’re looking for something more mobile and fast, perhaps even the Automaton could be what you’re looking for.

With this loadout, you may want to test yourself in Vanguard’s multiplayer. However, if you prefer Ranked Play, make sure you know all of the Vanguard Ranked Play rewards and how to get them before diving in.
