Treyarch has officially announced the first details on the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies DLC Map.

The map is officially called FIREBASE Z, per Treyarch, in a new blog post on the company website.

The studio has also announced that the map will arrive for free for everyone on Thursday, February 4.

Here’s the first details on the new map, from the Treyarch blog:

Just when you thought the next chapter in the Dark Aether story was coming in Season Two… we’ve got one hell of a surprise for Zombies fans.

Today, we’re unveiling the title and launch date for the next Black Ops Cold War Zombies map: “Firebase Z” will arrive during Season One on February 4th, free for all players.

With the destruction of the WWII-era “Projekt Endstation” site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name “Firebase Z.”

We’ve got plenty more in store that we can’t wait to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for details.

Treyarch says that more information on FIREBASE Z is coming on 115 day on January 15, with more information to come as the launch of February 4. This is still part of Season One for Black Ops Cold War.

We’re celebrating 115 Day tomorrow on Friday, Jan. 15th with new “Firebase Z” details, plus additional updates to expect when the map launches.

The studio has been teasing the story details behind Firebase Z on Twitter with a variety of teaser images talking about OMEGA ONE.

Stay tuned for the latest news on Black Ops Cold War Zombies.
