Cold War & Warzone Season 2 Trailer: Release Date, New Weapons & Operators

Get ready for Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone.

Activision has officially announced that Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone will begin February 25 on all platforms.

The new update will bring a brand new Battle Pass, new MP content, new Warzone updates, and more to the game.

As we get ready for Season 2, Activision has released a new Intro Cinematic Trailer for the new season.

Intro Trailer

After the attack on The Pines, Adler has been taken hostage. Intel leads to Southeast Asia, where Naga, a Perseus operative, has been distributing deadly Nova 6 gas through a vast cartel network. In Season Two, head to a stronghold in the jungles of Laos to strike back, rescue Adler from captivity, and even the fight.

New Operators

A new Operator for Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone was confirmed in the new trailer. Players will most likely be able to get this Operator as part of the new Battle Pass in Season 2. More information on who this Operator is has yet to be revealed.

New Weapons

The Intro Cinematic Trailer also has shown us a first look at some of the new content coming to Black Ops Cold War with Season 2.

The new guns includes a Mini-Gun, which could be a Scorestreak, and the return of the Crossbow weapon in Black Ops. It also shows the Galil, a fan favorite weapon in the Black Ops franchise, to be returning.

Mini-Gun

The iconic Mini-Gun, which has been in Call of Duty in the past, was showcased in the new trailer. This could be one of the new Scorestreaks for Season 2.

Crossbow

A new Season is set to bring the favorite Crossbow secondary weapon into the action. The trailer showcased a first look at the the new weapon in action.

Galil

Fan favorite Black Ops weapon Galil was also spotted in the new trailer, as seen above.

New SMG

The intro trailer also provided a first look at a new SMG coming to Black Ops Cold War, which appears to be the AI-LC10.

Season 2 of Cold War & Warzone begins on February 25.
