DICE Battlefield 2042 Season 7 is officially on the way, so here’s everything we know including its release date window, maps, and content.
Despite a rough launch, DICE and EA have continued to support Battlefield 2042, bringing more and more highly praised changes throughout its six seasons. It even hit its all-time peak player count on Steam back in October, and Season 7 has been confirmed.

When is Battlefield 2042 Season 7?
Battlefield 2042 Season 7 will arrive in March 2024. The exact date hasn’t been revealed but DICE said the reveal will also be coming in March, so we should know more then.
In the meantime, the devs are bringing Lunar New Year rewards and another Arkangel Directive Event.
Two new maps in Battlefield 2042 Season 7
Battlefield 2042 brings two maps in its Season 7 update, with one of them already being teased. This teased map appears to be set in Chile while the other looks to be set in the Middle East.
The work-in-progress image of one of the maps shows bunting with the Chilean flag in a Spanish-speaking urban environment, so it’s more than likely set in Chile. Plus, the developers teased Season 7 would be heading to South America through a map shown on the table.
The other map showed the Middle East with a black dot over the Persian Gulf, so players are desperate to see the Gulf of Oman map return.
