Battlefield 2042 leak shows off weapon gameplay footage
Some new Battlefield 2042 leaked footage from a recent playtest shows gameplay of weapons firing and reloading.
Battlefield 2042 is just a couple of months away, and the leaks are already starting. The start date for the Open Beta may have been leaked, and now we have new footage of gameplay.
From what we’ve seen so far with the trailers, Battlefield 2042 aims to be the largest installment in the franchise. There will be bigger maps than ever before and massive natural disasters that impact rounds.
However, there will also be a ton of smaller additions and tweaks that change the game. While some players may not care for the minor details, new footage of Battlefield 2042 weapons gameplay has been leaked.
Battlefield 2042 Leaked weapon gameplay
The Battlefield 2042 leaked footage is from that playtest. It showcases six weapons that will be in the final game. The weapons included 2 Assault Rifles, 2 SMG, 1 LMG, and 1 Shotgun.
The footage didn’t show much else other than a large body of water and a hillside covered in trees. The player fired each weapon from the hip and aiming down sights. They also reloaded each weapon to show different animations.
There were also multiple players seen in the distance fighting with helicopters in one of the clips. At one point, the player was presumably killed by one of these helicopters. Upon death, the PC threw his weapon, disarming himself.
The animations in the Battlefield 2042 leaked gameplay footage, such as the LMG reload animation, are very impressive.
The maps are also very vibrant and will no doubt provide plenty of beautiful environments for players to look upon when they are playing.
Even though only six weapons were shown, there will be many more in the final product. Read our list of all of the confirmed Battlefield 2042 weapons to see which ones made the cut.
