Baldur’s Gate 3 has received high praise from both fans and critics since release, but that doesn’t mean it’s without its faults. Players have shared what their most frustrating moments in-game have come from.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of mechanics to pay attention to, and some of them are working better than others. While it’s impossible to deny the success of the game and the loyal fanbase it has grown since its release, players believe there is some room for improvement.

In a Reddit post titled “What is the most frustrating thing about this game?” players commented on the things that they are struggling with while playing

While there were comments that covered a few different things like party and combat mechanics, the majority of players mentioned something to do with looting and inventory.

The inventory system in Baldur’s Gate 3, according to players, could use some work. Right now, they feel it is messy and disorganized, making it difficult to actually sort through everything. “How messy and unorganized the inventory is. And the bags don’t help much since you can’t label them,” one player said in response to the title question.

Some players shared solutions for this issue, some of which can already be carried out in-game, while others are suggestions for additions to the game.

“I created a bag for scrolls and it really had me start using scrolls – not sure how to do effective damage with your ranger? Click the small bag next to the healing pots and throw some strong debuff/damage spell at the enemy,” one player explained.

Another player suggested including a Bag of Holding in the game. “For those who haven’t played tabletop D&D, it’s a five lbs bag that can carry up to 500 lbs without increasing the bag’s weight. I’d just throw my junk in there and sell it.”

While the issue may seem small at first glance, it can be frustrating for players to sort through a disorganized inventory, especially because there is so much loot in the game. Baldur’s Gate 3 is releasing a new patch soon, though, and we will keep you updated with any changes Larian make to the game.
