Attack of the Undead could be returning to COD Mobile

The Attack of the Undead mode could be making another return to COD Mobile in the coming weeks.

The popular 20 player battle royale limited-time mode, Attack of the Undead has been teased via the January test build for COD Mobile.

This mode pits survivors vs undead, with the goal of the undead to kill all survivors before the time runs out. Survivors on the other hand, simply need to live long enough for the timer to hit 0 to win. The game will begin with 2 randomly selected players to be zombies, who will originally be dropped in with their loadout.

After 2 additional players are infected, zombies will spawn in with knives instead. This is where teamwork will become paramount, as closing in the distance to a survivor will require lots of teammates for distractions. Survivors should also use the beginning of the game to loot up and secure an area to survive.

Once one survivor is remaining, they’ll be granted a death machine and extra health as a boost. As survivors score kills, they’ll be granted various perks to fight off the undead. Here’s the list:

  • Vulture: Collect ammo from kills. (Scavenger)
  • Amped: Faster weapon swap and reload speed.
  • Restock: Faster operator skill activation.

Hopefully we’ll see this mode implemented into the next major COD mobile update.
