M4 Assault Rifle Warzone 2

The M4 has been a reliable Assault Rifle since the start of Warzone 2 and that remains true in Season 1 Reloaded. Here’s a zero recoil loadout to fully utilize the M4’s steady aim.

While LMGs continue to dominate the Warzone 2 meta in Season 1 Reloaded, some players simply prefer to utilize Assault Rifles. These versatile weapons are great in a variety of situations and none are as flexible as the M4.

With the well-received change to Loadout Drops in Warzone 2, players will be able to get their hands on their custom weapons much earlier. As with most Call of Duty games that feature the M4, it remains a fantastic option for every type of player.

Warzone 2 expert Metaphor continues to test out the most popular weapons in the game ahead of Season 2. They believe that the M4 is in the running when it comes to the best Assault Rifles available. The top player created a zero recoil loadout, and here are the attachments you’ll need to equip to replicate it.

Metaphor’s Warzone 2 M4 loadout

  • Muzzle: Komodo Heavy (+0.52 lb, +0.17 in
  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel (+0.44 lb, +0.40 in)
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro (-3.00 oz, +2.25 in)
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Stock: Corio Precio Factory (-2.32 oz, +1.55 in)

Metaphor claims that with the right attachments, “It literally does not move with this setup.” The Hightower 20″ Barrel brings a lot to the table as it increases bullet velocity, damage range, recoil control, and hip fire accuracy.

Meanwhile, the Komodo Heavy and Corio Precio Factory are essential for boosting the M4’s accuracy to the point where it has zero recoil.

Metaphor speaks highly of the weapon, but the top player isn’t oblivious when it comes to its weakness. The content creator explains that: “it just doesn’t do enough damage at very long-range.”

Therefore it’s important to stay within the M4’s sweet spot of close to medium range. It’s one of the best medium-range weapons in Warzone 2 and “super easy to use”, really fun and it won’t bounce around, allowing you to hit your shots.
