Warzone Operators in a line

Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 is well underway, but players are wondering what the future holds. With Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 on the horizon, is there a Warzone and Vanguard Season 6 to look forward to?

Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded is now in motion and it brought plenty of fresh content to both titles. Not only are there a ton of evil Operators to get your hands on, but there’s also the awesome Lienna 57 LMG too.

But CoD fans are always looking ahead to what’s in store, and with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 due to arrive sooner rather than later, time is seemingly running out for both Vanguard and the original Warzone.

With this in mind, players may be wondering if there is a Vanguard and Warzone Season 6 planned. We’ve got you covered below.

Is there a Warzone & Vanguard Season 6 planned?

Raven Software have confirmed that there will be no Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 6, making Season 5 the final chapter in both games.

The Season 5 Reloaded update represented the last major update before the release of the new titles and brings to an end two legacies.

Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive on October 28, three weeks before Warzone, and Vanguard Season 5 is scheduled to end on November 16, meaning it’s likely that Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 will get underway on the same day.

This was backed up by a leaked internal document that suggested that Warzone 2 will also launch on November 16, which makes sense given that the two games are expected to be integrated together, sharing the same season structure and Battle Pass.

So, although we’re nearing the end of Warzone and Vanguard’s time in the sun, there’s still plenty to get excited about in the future of Call of Duty.
