Why are there no Duos in Warzone?

Call of Duty: Warzone players are confused about why there is no playlist for Duos in Season 5 Reloaded. However, there is a valid reason as to why.

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded introduced new content for players to enjoy, not only through various buffs and nerfs to weapons to shift the meta but also with new game modes.

Fans were disappointed to see Plunder go, replaced by Clash, a huge 50 vs. 50 Team Deathmatch in Verdansk.

However, this wasn’t the only new mode being introduced, as now fans can get their hands on the Iron Trials mode, which has seemingly replaced Duos.

Why are there no Duos in Warzone?

Warzone offers players a variety of ways to play that many other battle royales don’t provide. In Warzone, players have the option to in squads, trios, duos, or even solos and have a mode like Plunder, Buy Back, or Rebirth Resurgence.

However, on September 16, a new mode replaced Duos in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded, and it’s described by the developers as “the toughest Battle Royale mode to ever come to Verdansk.”

The mode is called Iron Trials ’84 and has a set of exciting rules. In Iron Trials, the developers have designed the mode to be very difficult, increasing buy station prices, having fewer vehicles, no Stopping Power or Dead Silence, and even stopping free Loadouts.

Although this isn’t a true replacement of Warzone Duos, it is still a pretty fun new game mode that will definitely give players a challenge.

Those who aren’t interested in the Iron Trials mode, and would much rather play the regular version of Warzone Duos, have no fear, as this isn’t a permanent change.

The standard Duos playlist will be returning in Warzone on September 30.
