Where to place alien light communication devices for Fortnite Week 3 Quest
There are brand-new challenges in Week 3 of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7. Here’s how you can complete the one that requires you to place two alien light communication devices on mountain tops.
Week 3 of Fortnite Season 7 has brought brand-new weekly challenges for you to complete. These serve as great opportunities to earn some bonus XP as you progress through the Season 7 Battle Pass.
One of this week’s Quests has you place a total of two alien light communication devices on mountain tops. This isn’t too difficult to do so long as you know where to go, and we’re here to help you out with that.
Where to find Fortnite mountain tops
The good news is that you have four different mountain tops to choose from, and you can find them on the South-East side of Fortnite Island. You can pick any one of these to visit for this challenge.
Just land at any of these spots directly after jumping from the Battle Bus, or make your way towards them in the middle of the match. You’ll need to reach the summit of the peak.
These mountains are located right next to Catty Corner and below Misty Meadows. To make things a bit easier, we’ve marked their locations on the map below.
Once you get to them, all you need to do is interact with the alien device, placing it on the mountain top. Just do this with both devices, and you’ll complete the challenge, earning 30,000 XP.
Just be careful of other players that try to battle you at these locations. Weekly challenges often make the target areas into player hotspots, so be ready for a fight when you make your way to the mountains.
