Week 9 of Fortnite Season 7’s Legendary Quests tasks players with placing a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome, so here’s how to complete the challenge for a massive XP boost.

We’re now in the ninth week of Fortnite Season 7, which marks the arrival of the 17.30 update, including the upcoming Ariana Grande concert and Grab-itron weapon. There’s another batch of Legendary Quests to complete. One of Week 9’s Quests tasks players with placing a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome.

For completing this, you’ll be awarded 30,000 XP, which will be a major boost in earning Battle Stars and unlocking the Rick Sanchez skin.

Here’s where to place a Fortnite Bioscanner in Alien Biomes for the Season 7 Week 8 Quests.

Fortnite Bioscanner locations

Fortnite Season 7 Bioscanner locations
  1. In the garden of the western house, directly south of the large tree
  2. In the outdoor section of the Garden Center, on the east side
  3. In the garden of the southeastern house, beside the three trashcans

Fortnite’s Alien Biomes can be found in Holly Hatchery, marked by the glowing bubbles around the houses.

The Fortnite Bioscanner will already be marked on the ground for you already. You simply need to approach it and press the interact button to place it. Place one, and you’ll be awarded 30,000 XP towards leveling up and completing the Battle Pass.

This is a substantial amount of XP that will help you level up this season’s Battle Pass, so players will be wise to complete this challenge.

Expect Holly Hedges to be busy when these challenges go live, so either land directly on the Bioscanner or rotate to the location later in the game, as you are sure to run into plenty of enemy players who will be trying to complete this challenge to place a Fortnite Bioscanner in an Alien Biome as well.
