For the first batch of Fortnite Season 7’s Weekly Quests, you’re tasked with buying a Shield Potion from a Mending Machine, so here’s where to find and use them.

A brand new Fortnite season has arrived, bringing with it a new Battle Pass and its Battle Star currency system. To get a headstart with the Season 7 Battle Pass and unlock the Rick Sanchez skin, Epic Games have continued to offer a series of weekly challenges to earn a ton of XP.

As is typical with the start of a new season, the Weekly Quests are there to familiarise you with the new mechanics for the season. Season 7’s Week 1 Quests ask you to accept a mission from a payphone, deal damage with the new Pulse Rifle, and buy a Shield Potion from a Mending Machine.

Here are the locations of each Mending Machine in Season 7, and how to purchase a Shield Potion from them.

Mending Machines are very similar to the Weapon-O-Matic vending machines, but as the name suggests, they will sell you healing items. To familiarise players with these extremely useful machines, you have to purchase a Shield Potion from one of them as part of Season 7’s Week 1 Challenges.

Mending Machines typically spawn by Gas Stations around the Fortnite Season 7 map. These can be found either in the major POIs or out in the wilderness.

Thanks to the website Fortnite.GG, we can see the location of each of the Mending Machines you have to visit to purchase your shield potions.

Unfortunately, there’s an RNG element to this challenge as the Mending Machines aren’t guaranteed to spawn. If you arrive at a location and the machine isn’t there, you can consult this map again to see where the nearest one might be.

Once you arrive at a Mending Machine, you need to spend Gold to purchase a Shield Potion. Gold has reset with the beginning of the new season, so you can check out our guide on how to get Gold Bars and spend them.
