Amongst all of Fortnite Season 7’s many challenges is one that asks you to find and hunt an infected animal. Thankfully, we know where you need to go to find one in Season 7, and our guide should make this straightforward.

Fortnite Season 7 has had a lot of crazy stuff going on due to the alien invasion of the Island. Gameplay changes have seen the incorporation of Alien Parasites and Motherships, Loki is a new skin, Naruto and Dragon Ball Z could have skins soon, and even LeBron James could be on the way to Fortnite!

Season 7 is proving to be a crazy one, and it’s had lots of even zanier challenges to go with it. We’re putting the spotlight on the Week 4 challenge that requires players to find and kill one infected animal, and here’s how you can do it.

The good news for this challenge is that Fortnite doesn’t limit the creatures that can be affected by the infection.

Meaning you can find infected boars, chickens, and wolves. They are very distinguishable in comparison to uninfected versions of themselves because they will have a distinct purple glow and more eyes than normal.

There isn’t one obvious place to go to find these creatures though, with players reporting sightings of infected animals in multiple areas of the map.

It’s believed that the best spots to check for infected creatures are as followed:

  • The West side of Corny Complex
  • West of Misty Meadows near the gas station
  • Several areas in and around Weeping Woods
  • North East area of Lazy Lake
  • East side of Pleasant Park

Once you do manage to locate an infected animal, you are then required to simply put it out of its misery and kill the creature.

Depending on your lobby and how the game unfolds, it might take two or three games to successfully pull off. Once you complete this challenge, you will earn some decent XP and be one step closer to completing all of Week 4’s challenges!
