This year is no exception, as the winter update is on its way and will bring a plethora of exciting new activities for players to enjoy leading up to the Christmas season. The biggest question is when exactly will the fun begin?

GTA Online Festive Surprise 2021 start date & time
Rockstar have yet to confirm an official start date for the Festive Surprise event in GTA Online, and they don’t stick to a set date each year. The update normally arrives in the second or third week of December.
This means that we might see it arrive somewhere around December 16 – 23. However, this might change if the GTA Online developers have more content planned that will take time to implement.
GTA Online Festive Surprise 2021 rewards
Winter updates often bring a mix of log-in rewards and event-long discounts that last for the whole duration of the event. These often include new shirts, cars, and Christmas-themed weapons.
At the time of writing, we don’t know any specific items that will be arriving in the game as part of the Festive Surprise update in 2021, but Rockstar may announce some of the content soon.
