When Fortnite was removed from the Apple Store, it was left unavailable to mobile users for a while, but it’s the battle royale will be returning soon, so here’s the iOS return date.

Fortnite has become one of the most popular battle royale titles over the years, with a global fanbase across every platform. However, fans of the iOS version of the game have faced difficulties.

Due to a dispute between Apple, Google, and Epic Games, the game had been taken offline on iOS. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the game’s return on the platform, and they won’t have to wait much longer.

Fortnite iOS return date

A report from Apple Insider states that Fortnite should return to iOS at some point during October 2021. Nvidia’s Aashish Patel reportedly stated that a touch-friendly version of the game would arrive around then.

The battle royale was removed from the Apple Store on August 13 as a result of Apple accusing Epic Games of violating the terms of service. The two companies have been attempting to settle the matter in court for three months now.

This has been particularly difficult for Fortnite fans on the iOS who could no longer hop into the game on that platform. Luckily, the GeForce NOW service provided by Nvidia is expected to bring it back.

Google is also in dispute with Epic Games, which means that the Android version of the game has also suffered as a result. However, fans can still enjoy it with a workaround, which isn’t the case on iOS.

Season 7 has brought a plethora of new content, such as alien parasites and superheroes like Superman and Wonder Woman, to battle the invaders. So, it’s an exciting time to play Fortnite, and iOS players are no doubt chomping at the bit to jump back into the exciting game world.
