With Destiny 2’s Season of the Defiance underway, players are wondering exactly when the next Iron Banner event is set to begin, and here’s everything we know about the Season 20 Iron Banner.

Destiny 2 Season 20: Season of Defiance has finally launched with the arrival of the Lightfall expansion which features brand-new weapons and gear along with a fun Raid for players to check out.

Bungie keep the game fresh with new content, and the Iron Banner grants players the opportunity to get their hands on neat rewards. We’ll go over all you need to know about Destiny 2 Season 20’s Iron Banner event.

When is the next Iron Banner in Destiny 2?

The Iron Banner will be available in Destiny 2 for three weeks during Season of the Defiance, starting from March 14. Bungie officially revealed the dates that players can hop into Destiny 2’s Iron Banner.

Destiny 2’s Iron Banner will return on these dates:

• Week 3 (March 14 – 21)
• Week 6 (April 4 – 11)
• Week 9 (April 25 – May 2)

What is the Iron Banner in Destiny 2?

Iron Banner is a PvP mode you can play in Crucible for three weeks. You can only take part in this Destiny 2 event after meeting Lord Shaxx and speaking to Lord Saladin in the Tower.

You can find these two in the free-to-play New Light Quest. In the Iron Banner, you earn tokens by playing and it’s normally just one mode. Bungie has not yet confirmed what the Iron Banner is for Season of the Defiance.

It will only be in the season for a limited amount of time so you’ll have to hop into Destiny 2 and participate in the event before it’s gone.

The Iron Banner rewards for Season of the Defiance have yet to be revealed by Bungie. However, the event often gives players unique armor and weapons, so it’s a safe bet that those will be included.
