Warzone players hopping into Ashika Island or Vondel for some Resurgence may notice a section on the scoreboard tracking Redeploys, but what exactly does this mean? Here’s everything you need to know.

The Warzone Season 1 update was a big one for the battle royale, bringing a host of new weapons from Modern Warfare 3 along with a major movement overhaul. But one of the features that stuck around is the ever-popular Resurgence mode.

Those jumping into Ashika Island or Vondel for the first time will have spotted a section of the in-game scoreboard keeping a tally of the number of Redeploys, but what does it mean?

Here’s everything you need to know about Redeploy on the Warzone scoreboard.

What are Redeploys on Warzone scoreboard?

Redeploys is the number of times you have died and returned to the fight during a game of Warzone Resurgence. Checking this stat on the scoreboard gives you a clear idea of how you’re performing and the number of kills you’re racking up per life.

Redeploying is also a feature in regular battle royale games on Urzikstan, taking place after you’ve won the Gulag to drop back onto the map or a Jailbreak event. Regular Warzone matches also feature Redeploy Packs that allow a player to skip the Gulag and return right away, while still saving their one Gulag attempt for later in the game.

These are not tracked on the scoreboard, however, as Redeploying is a much rarer occurrence than on Vondel or Ashika Island, so most players will only come back once or twice per game.

Meanwhile, Resurgence is built around the idea that players can respawn after death up to a certain point, so it’s possible that they could die and come back plenty of times while still going on to secure the win.

With this in mind, keeping track of your Redeploys in Resurgence essentially lets players work out their kill/death ratio.
