FIFA 23 leaks have hinted at the arrival of new cards alongside the classic blue TOTY cards. With TOTY Icons and Alternate Reality Icons possibly in packs, players will have terrific opportunities to improve their FUT squads.

FIFA 23 leaks suggest TOTY Icons coming to Ultimate Team
According to FutScoreboard new card types called TOTY Icon and Alternate Reality Icon are coming to FIFA 23 with the TOTY promo. The information was later corroborated by renowned leaker DonkTrading.
The TOTY promo will commence on January 20, and it will be a multi-week promo.
There’s no telling when these new Icon variations could make their way to packs. Once EA reveal official information concerning TOTY Icons, we’ll let you know when they’ll make their way to FIFA 23.
FIFA 23 TOTY Icons leaked concept explained
TOTY Icons could be a new variation of the highly sought-after Icon cards in Ultimate Team arriving alongside the TOTY promo.
Usually, a base, mid, and prime version of an Icon player appears in FUT. However, FIFA 23 introduced the new WC Icon concept taking the number of Icon cards to four for a small group of players.
The TOTY Icon concept could mirror the WC Icon concept, adding another Icon card to the game for a select few players. Rumors are suggesting that some top players who missed out on a WC Icon card will instead receive a TOTY Icon card, honoring their triumphs of the past.
These players include Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney, and Fernando Torres. These are just rumors at the moment and there’s no telling who will receive a TOTY Icon.
What are leaked Alternate Reality Icons in FIFA 23?
Alternate Reality Icons could further shake up the Icon concept in FIFA 23. According to leaks, these Alternate Reality Icons could also arrive during the TOTY promo. If rumors are true FIFA 23’s TOTY could be the best promo in years with opportunities to pack new Icon cards and TOTY players.
The Alternate Reality Icon concept remains a mystery, but players have put together two hypotheses. The first predicts that Alternate Reality Icons could present Icons in alternate positions as seen in the image above.
The second prediction suggests that Alternate Reality Icons will provide Icon cards for players whose careers took unexpected turns. In this version, Alternate Reality Icon cards would honor players who failed to reach their untapped potential.
