Cold War’s OTs 9 was a top-tier weapon in Warzone before Vanguard’s integration, but a unique TikTok loadout brings it back to the meta.

March 10 marks Call of Duty: Warzone’s two-year anniversary and an incredible amount of Modern Warfare, Cold War, and Vanguard weapons have come and gone from the meta. One of the Cold War era’s best guns was the OTs 9, although it has fallen to the wayside since Vanguard’s integration.

That could change though, as a TikTok creator has revealed a new OTs 9 loadout that could bring the Cold War SMG back into Season 2’s meta.

  • Barrel: GRU Suppressor
  • Laser: KGB Target Designator
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Magazine: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag

TikTok creator ‘chuckthecg‘ showed off this unique OTs 9 loadout, which is built for damage and mobility. Throughout the video, we can see him gun down enemies with ease, and although we can’t see the kill count, it sounds like he won the Rebirth Island game with a whopping 29 kills.

The classic GRU Suppressor remains, but the rest of the attachments are very different from the usual OTs loadouts you see. Interestingly, chuckthecg avoids the popular Task Force barrel and instead opts for the KGB Target Designator laser. This increases the damage range and improves hip-fire accuracy, making the OTs 9 much more versatile.

Next up, he uses the No Stock and Bruiser Grip attachments, increasing his movement speed and sprint-to-fire time. Then, the VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag ensures he has enough bullets and can reload quickly.

The only aspect of the weapon weakened by this attachment combo is its ADS speed, but increasing the sprint-to-fire speed and hip-fire accuracy means that doesn’t matter too much, as you can start shooting as you ADS.

If you were a fan of the OTs 9 before Vanguard’s integration, it’s well worth trying out this new meta build in both Caldera and Rebirth Island, perhaps alongside the best Rebirth Iron Trials loadouts.
