Vanguard’s Sniper Rifles received a huge buff in Warzone Pacific Season 2, and streamer and pro player IceManIsaac has unveiled a 3-Line Rifle loadout with such a high bullet velocity that he claims it “feels like hitscan.”

While Vanguard’s weapons made a huge impact on Warzone’s meta when they arrived, the Sniper Rifles didn’t make as much of a splash. With a huge amount of flinch and scope sway, the majority of players stuck with the classic Modern Warfare Kar98k and Swiss K31.

But, buffs in Warzone Pacific Season 2’s update have made Vanguard’s snipers much more viable, and pro player IceManIsaac has revealed a 3-Line Rifle loadout that “feels like hitscan.”

3-Line Rifle in Call of Duty Vanguard

Hitscan is a type of game design where bullets don’t exist as physical objects and will land exactly where the player points as soon as they click. While there aren’t any hitscan weapons in Warzone, IcemanIsaac has built Vanguard’s 3-Line to feel like it is.

The streamer explained that the 3-Line is now “so much better than it used to be.” While it always felt like hitscan to him, the Empress 514mm F01 barrel seeing a 17% increase in velocity makes it “legitimately feels like a hitscan sniper, I feel like I’m playing Halo sometimes.”

He said that you simply need to click on their head and the bullet will land almost instantly, so you hardly need to lead moving targets or adjust for bullet drop.

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Empress 514mm F01
  • Optic:
  • Stock: ZAC Custom MZ
  • Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
  • Magazine: 30-06 20 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Leather Grip
  • Perk 1: Silent Focus
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

The Empress 514mm F01 barrel is what completely transforms the 3-Line, giving it such a high bullet velocity that it feels like hitscan. The rest of the attachments are to further improve its range and ADS time, with the Silent Focus Perk there to try and reduce the scope sway.

Isaac explained that it can be “a little bit unwieldy sometimes” as moving around while aiming will cause the reticle to bounce everywhere. But if you stop and hold your breath, you’ll be as accurate as any of the other snipers.
