Warzone players think the FARA 83 is one buff away from being meta

The FARA 83 from Black Ops Cold War is not considered meta in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded, but some players believe it could be with one change.

The Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded meta has slowly opened up since the devs decided to nerf the STG44 and buff the BAR, Type 11, and NZ-41.

Having said that, players are still frustrated at the lack of meta weapons outside of Vanguard‘s armory. Black Ops Cold War’s weapons are currently not considered meta, but some players believe the FARA 83 needs just one buff to allow it to compete.

Reddit user SirUseless1 posted a question in the Warzone subreddit asking whether the FARA 83 is “underrated.”Along with the question, the user also posted an image of the FARA’s TTK compared to the STG44 and NZ-41.

The TTK chart shows that the FARA actually has a pretty competitive TTK, and after the 40-meter mark, it even has a faster TTK than both the STG44 and the NZ-41.

This poses the question of why the FARA isn’t considered meta, and it seems players believe one aspect of the weapon is holding it back.

In the comments, many users agree that the FARA’s ADS and overall movement speed is its weakness, “It’s just so slow, feels like hauling an LMG. Reload takes forever.”

Players feel this is the main issue with the weapon, as its “ADS is far worse than the other two listed,” pushing it out of the meta. If this aspect of the weapon was better, it would likely be considered meta.

Having said that, some do believe that the FARA is underrated, with one comment stating: “Imo, yes. S*** has good damage, good range, and little to no recoil.”

Another player also agrees, claiming that the Liberator Barrel attachment “makes the ads speed significantly faster,” making it “worth a try.”
