Warzone had its two-year anniversary on March 10, and players are confused about why Raven Software didn’t implement any new in-game content for the special occasion.

Warzone has become one of the most successful Call of Duty titles since its initial launch, as popular streamers and content creators like FaZe Swagg and Aydan grind the game and compete in tournaments.

March 10 marked Warzone’s two-year anniversary, and players shared highlights from the game on social media. However, the game itself is devoid of new content to celebrate the occasion.

After Warzone’s developers, Raven Software, tweeted about the game’s second anniversary, Reddit user ‘Nintendo_Pro_03’ asked why there’s “no content for Warzone Pacific to celebrate this?”

Many of the commenters were wondering the same thing, and one user wrote: “Would have been awesome if they would have surprised us and swapped back to Verdansk, I know that’s too much to ask for but still.”

Another user was hoping for a new map: “I honestly thought they would drop a new Rebirth map today. It was leaked that they have a new one, and in the intro for season two a snowy map could be seen. Oh well.”

Some players gave their explanations for the lack of new in-game content, with the top-voted comment jokingly stating: “New content means more bugs. We already have so many bugs to deal with!”

One commenter noted that the devs usually don’t do major content drops on Warzone’s anniversary, so this isn’t too surprising. Another user claimed that if the devs added new in-game content, players would “flood the comments” asking for bug fixes first.

While there wasn’t much for players to do on Warzone’s second anniversary, the developers frequently bring new changes through update patches, and we expect more of those to drop as Season 2 goes on.
