Warzone players are claiming that the Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update has actually changed the amount of Armor Plates you find in a match.

The Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update brought some significant changes to the battle royale, including a massive rework to Rebirth Island, some health changes, and also the introduction of a new SMG, the Armaguerra.

As well as all this, players are now able to loot individual plates from Satchels, but some think they may have also reduced the number of Armor Plates players can find on the map.

Reddit user throwawaybones11 put a post up in the Warzone subreddit with the title: “There is actually LESS PLATES in the game with the new satchel update.”

The player feels as if prior to the update, Armor Plates were way more abundant, but since the devs introduced the change that allows players to loot individual plates from Satchels, it has caused there to be less availability around the map.

Further, not only do they feel as if they find less Armor Plates on the map, but they also state that because of the change, you may not even get many Armor Plates when picking up a Satchel, as another player may have taken a bunch from it already:

“Plus, everytime you used to pick up a satchel, you’d get 8 plates, but now that they can be looted, that’s not always the case.”

It does seem that the community is split about how they feel about the change. However, one user commented their positive feelings towards the change:

“I think this way makes more sense than magically having dropped 16 plates. Also the fact that you can pick up a satchel with less or no plates (if I understand it correctly) makes the last circles of the game more thrilling for those that want to clutch the game.”
