Warzone Pacific players are pretty disappointed with the Shotgun nerfs in the Season 3 Reloaded update, with some even claiming the weapon category should be removed entirely.

While some of the changes introduced in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update are being praised, some are not too happy with the weapon buffs and nerfs, especially when it comes to the Shotgun category.

Shotguns aren’t the most meta weapons to use in Warzone, but they have previously held their own in close-range battles. With the recent health pool change, the devs decided to nerf the damage of a variety of Shotguns, causing some discontent in the community.

SMGs have dominated the close-range battles in Warzone Pacific, leaving hardly any room for Shotguns to excel.

Things have now seemingly gotten worse for Shotguns in the Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded update, as the Streetsweeper, Gallo, JAK-1, Origin 12, R-90, and Gracey Auto all had their damages reduced by 20%.

Reddit user Gtaher0 highlighted these changes with the caption “Holy Jesus,” indicating a sense of shock.

Users in the comments have chipped in, also shocked about the changes and slightly disappointed, with one player even feeling as if Shotguns should be removed from the loot pool: “Remove shotgun ground loot.”

This is mainly because, as another user states, “some shotguns don’t even have enough rounds needed to down some players.”

On the other hand, some aren’t that bothered, feeling as if most of the Shotguns that were nerfed are rarely used anyway: “Jak12 and Streetsweeper were pretty nutty. Other ones I never saw used in-game over the last 3 months.”
