The latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, which addresses issues with two of the game’s recent additions, the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, and the Ice Drake Krig 6 blueprint.
Warzone and Black Ops Cold War are now gearing towards the mid-Season 2 update, but some frustrating issues were addressed in Warzone on March 25. Although the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow and Ice Drake blueprint were available in Cold War, bugs and issues prevented them from working properly in Warzone.
The R1 Shadowhunter has now been properly added into Warzone so you can equip it into your loadout after you unlock it or purchase it, and you’re now able to use the Ice Drake Krig 6 blueprint.
Warzone March 25 patch notes
Here are the full patch notes tweeted by Raven Software.
- Ice Drake Blueprint fixed – the 16.5″ Ultralight and 19.7″ Takedown barrels will temporarily adorn a dragon head
- R1 Shadowhunter crossbow should now be available in the Weapons menu after it has been unlocked in BOCW or via the Store bundle
R1 Shadowhunter and Ice Drake blueprint fixed in Warzone
Players were frustrated by the NecroKing bundle, which included the Ice Drake blueprint, as trying to equip certain barrels would revert the blueprint back to a standard Krig. It was promptly removed from the Store but has now been added back following the update.
For the time being, the 16.5″ Ultralight and 19.7″ Takedown barrels will have the dragon head design attached, but Raven Software warned fans that it would be removed from these barrels “in a future update.”
And after the crossbow was accidentally added to Cold War and Warzone early, once it got its full release, it never actually arrived in Warzone. Even after purchasing the R1 Shadowhunter from the Store, or unlocking it through Cold War, it could not be equipped in Warzone. This has now been addressed, and you can take this medieval weapon into Verdansk.
While we can imagine changes such as weapon balance will be addressed in the mid-season update, it’s good to see these issues being dealt with ahead of the next major update.
