Although the new SMG arriving during Season 6 is yet to be unveiled, new gameplay footage has leaked of the Warzone LAPA SMG showing off what it looks like in-game.

Warzone Season 6 launched with two brand new weapons in the Grav and the .410 Ironhide. A further two weapons have been added to the Battle Pass as well, the M1 Garand and STG44 from Vanguard.

Despite all these new additions, players are still itching to see the LAPA SMG that is set to be released in season.

One player has managed to get their hands on the weapon early and even show off some gameplay.

LAPA in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War

There’s no shortage of great SMG options in Warzone Season 6, especially since FaZe Swagg showed off how powerful a particular AR can be when its attachments are tuned for close range.

Despite the current options like the MAC 10 and the Fennec, Warzone players will be gifted another SMG during Season 6 called the LAPA.

YouTuber sebas789391 has even revealed new gameplay for the SMG early for players to see how the LAPA will look and feel in-game.

Although the video is short, it gives players a good idea of how the weapon will be, including its magazine size, rate of fire, and recoil pattern.

The base Warzone LAPA SMG will hold 30 rounds in a magazine, which isn’t too bad for an SMG’s base magazine. For Warzone, you will likely want to increase this, so we’ll have to wait for it to drop to see what kind of extended magazine attachments the weapon will have.

The rate of fire seems pretty fast as well, which is what you would expect from an SMG. The Iron sights look clean, although the sides of the weapon take up quite a lot of the screen.

The recoil pattern looks pretty simple, as it looks like it just goes up and to the left slightly. This LAPA seems like it could seriously contend with the other meta close-range weapon in Warzone Season 6, but, of course, we’ll have a better idea of that when it officially releases during the season as the main reward for The Haunting event.

As more is released and the weapon is officially out, we will be covering it all on Charlie INTEL, so make sure you stay tuned.
