Warzone Season 4 is a big one for the CoD battle royale with a brand-new map called Fortune’s Keep making its way to the game. Here’s what you need to know about Fortune’s Keep including the POIs, Easter Egss, and new features.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded was a big hit among the community, but attention has now turned to what lies ahead. Season 4 has arrived in Warzone, and players can discover everything Raven has to offer.

New weapons and meta adjustments are given in each new season, but new maps don’t come around very often. Fans haven’t been treated to a new playground since the game moved over to Caldera in December 2021, but that has changed with Season 4.

The developers have created Fortune’s Keep, Warzone Season 4’s new battleground.

Fortune’s Keep made its way to Warzone on June 22 with the Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune update. The update went live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, and players can now enjoy the Fortune’s Keep map.

The key art reveals a massive amount of gold bricks in what seems to be a vaulted area. Season 4 revolves around mercenaries and the heisting of cash and gold.

All Warzone Fortune’s Keep POIs

On June 13, the Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted out an area of Fortune Keep’s Tac Map, revealing that there will be twelve pieces that need to be uncovered.

These new Warzone areas were then pieced together by the Call of Duty community in an attempt to “Complete the map and claim your fortune.”

Here’s the Fortune’s Keep Tac Map which highlights twelve different POIs. Portions of the map were revealed to Warzone content creators, and slowly but surely the full Tac Map came together with the following POIs:

  • Overlook
  • Town
  • Graveyard
  • Terraces
  • Keep
  • Gatehouse
  • Grotto
  • Smuggler’s Cove
  • Bay
  • Winery
  • Camp
  • Lighthouse

Fortune’s Keep is a small map akin to Rebirth Island, but we now know that Fortune’s Keep is slightly bigger than the Alcatraz-inspired Warzone map.

Players will have a brand-new map to discover in Season 4 with exciting POIs like Keep, Smuggler’s Cove, and Town.

If you’re dropping into your first game on Fortune’s Keep you may want to visit the Keep POI which is expected to be a highly contested area of the map.

According to the devs, “at launch, Fortunes Keep will have the same Player count as Rebirth Resurgence to allow Players to familiarize themselves with the new map.”

You can find the player count below, but keep in mind that this is subject to change as the devs acquire data throughout the season.

  • Solos: 46
  • Duos: 46
  • Trios: 45
  • Quads: 40

Fortune’s Keep comes with its exclusive features that players will only get to experience on the new Season 4 map. The Mercenary Cash Extraction will give players a chance to accumulate a ton of cash by taking on A.I. units.

Along the same lines, the Black Market Supply Run is a new way for players to increase their chances of success by acquiring rare items. “Players will have access to unique items such as the Sequencer Grenade, the Nebula V Minigun, Foresight, a Specialist Bonus, or one of several classified Weapons.”

Then, we have the new Tactical Equipment Sequencer Grenade, which is only available via the Black Market Buy Station. This Tactical Equipment will disorient enemies by distorting their audio and visual senses.

Warzone Fortune’s Keep Easter Eggs

It hasn’t taken long for Warzone players to discover some neat tricks on Fortune’s Keep. One of the Easter Eggs consists of using the Fountain to swap cash for loot. Simply drop cash into the Fountain and it will provide loot.

The more cash you drop into the Fountain the better the incoming loot will be.

Another Fortune’s Keep Easter Egg involves spawning Zombies on the new Warzone map. In order to complete this task, you’ll have to light 3 candles that could be found around the map. Once we know exactly where to find these we’ll update this section.

After the candles are lit you’ll have to head to the Graveyard POI where you’ll receive a command to “pay respects.” One Zombie will spawn and this cannot be repeated. If you kill the Zombie you will receive a Self Revive as a reward.

Is Fortune’s Keep replacing Rebirth Island?

Rebirth Island Warzone

Fortune’s Keep will not be replacing Rebirth Island on a permanent basis in Warzone Season 4. The devs confirmed that Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep will be available during Season 4.

The maps are expected to rotate on a weekly basis as Warzone’s playlists change. Rebirth Island will disappear during the first week of the update as of June 22, but it is set to reappear on June 30.
