Warzone set to make major health changes after landslide poll

After the success of raising player health in Vanguard Royale, Raven Software asked players if they wanted Warzone’s Battle Royale mode’s health changed as well. It looks like the TTK changes will go ahead, with the vast majority of players voting for the change.

The Warzone devs are constantly making tweaks and changes to the game in an effort to make it a smoother, more balanced experience for its players. Popular weapons that are too powerful, like the MP40, are nerfed, and sometimes even core elements of the game receive updates.

With Warzone Season 2 Reloaded right around the corner, Raven mulled over a major change to HP that would fundamentally change the battle royale. They asked players to help them make the decision, and players voted for the change in a landslide poll.

Recently, we saw the max health in Vanguard Royale raised to 150 from the standard 100 that has featured in Warzone since its launch. This raised the overall time-to-kill (TTK) in an effort to both make the mode feel more forgiving and increase the skill gap.

Following the positive response to the TTK changes in Vanguard Royale, Raven used Twitter to gauge how the community would feel about implementing the same change into the core BR.

In a poll, players were asked to choose between keeping BR HP at 100 or increasing it up to 150, as the devs aim to build the “ultimate battle royale experience in Warzone Season Two Reloaded.”

The poll has now ended, and a whopping 72.3% of the 75,541 voters want Raven Software to increase Battle Royale health to 150.

There’s no guarantee the poll results mean change is definitely coming, but it’s unlikely Raven would run the poll if they didn’t intend to respect the decision. So, we’d expect to see the TTK change arrive in either Season 2 Reloaded or soon after.

But, ultimately, we’ll have to wait until the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded patch notes to see if Raven has taken the feedback on board.
