Warzone features a variety of different weapons to choose from, and it seems that a forgotten Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifle could be the next meta weapon in Season 2 Reloaded.
Warzone Pacific’s Season 2 Reloaded update brought a plethora of changes to Rebirth Island as well some balancing updates that altered the game’s meta and encouraged players to try out different guns.
There is a wide assortment of popular weapons available to use in both Caldera and Rebirth Island. Now, some Warzone data has revealed a forgotten Cold War weapon that could dominate the meta in Season 2 Reloaded.
Warzone stats expert ‘TrueGameData’ revealed that the Grav Assault Rifle from Black Ops Cold War could be the game’s next meta weapon. After putting the gun in his comparison tool, he showcased his findings.
The Grav deals 30 damage to most body parts, so you can dish out exactly 300 damage with 10 bullets. Since the base health in Warzone’s BR was recently buffed to 300 for fully-plated players, TrueGameData claims that this makes the gun “perfectly TTK efficient.”
He compared the weapon’s performance with other guns like the Cold War AK-47, XM4, Automaton, and AS44. After showcasing this comparison on a chart, he revealed that it was the best TTK out of all of these weapons.
The weapon’s biggest downside has always been its strong recoil, but that has improved quite a bit. While the first five bullets have quite a bit of recoil, after that it becomes much more manageable. TrueGameData also revealed the best loadout for the weapon.
TrueGameData’s Warzone Grav Assault Rifle loadout
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 21.3″ Task Force
- Magazine: 50 Rnd
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
The Agency Suppressor muzzle and 21.3″ Task Force barrel increase the weapon’s bullet velocity and range while decreasing recoil. The 50 Rnd mag gives more leeway with missed shots, whilst the Axial Arms 3x provides great mid to long-range magnification.
He caps off the loadout with the Field Agent Grip to boost both horizontal and vertical recoil control. TrueGameData claims that while the weapon has bad recoil, it’s a “hidden gem” because of its good TTK numbers.
He also claimed that It makes a fantastic Sniper support in Caldera’s long-range engagements. So, be sure to try out this impressive weapon for yourself the next time you hop into a game of Warzone.
