Warzone data reveals “forgotten” Assault Rifle is still meta
For a while now, the same couple of guns have been recognized as the main meta weapons in Warzone Season 6, but when crunching the numbers, TrueGameData has found that the C58 Assault Rifle is actually still right up there.
Players spent countless hours testing out different guns with varying attachments to see if there are any hidden meta weapons to use in Warzone. With Verdansk coming to the end of its run and set to be replaced by the tropical Caldera map, people are trying to make the most of it whilst they can.
Warzone Season 6 has largely been dominated by the Cold War AK-47, EM2, and OTs 9, with most players opting to use the guns alongside traditional rifles like the Kar98k and Swiss K31. But, TrueGameData thinks that the C58 is also a perfectly viable meta weapon.
Warzone C58, CW AK-47 & EM2 TTK comparison
TrueGameData is a YouTuber that uses and compares data to fully ascertain how good weapons are in Call of Duty, especially Warzone.
His most recent study went through the CW AK-47, EM2, and C58, and had some very interesting findings.
Slapping on the longest barrel and the ever-popular Agency Suppressor, we were shown the recoil patterns for the three guns based on fairly typical meta-builds, and not only did the C58 hold its own with a smooth firing pattern, but it also bettered the CW AK too.
He then went on to compare the three guns using all-around shots across the body to see which gun came on top as the range of target increased.
TrueGameData found that whilst the C58’s TTK definitely suffers a bit more at close-range compared to the CW AK and EM2, it more than holds its own the closer you get to mid-to-long-range, and even surpasses the other two guns.
He clarifies that based on the data for the EM2, “it’s extremely versatile and no matter where you are, it’s going to be one of the best guns.” However, he offers a counterpoint saying: “I’m not trying to say the C58 is better, but it’s way, way easier to control than the EM2, and out at range, it actually has does have better TTK with a single headshot.”

To round things off, TrueGameData also showed off his ideal C58 Assault Rifle loadout to maximize its TTK potential.
The Agency Suppressor and 18.7″ Ranger barrel are standard go-to attachments for most Assault Rifles in Warzone, as is the Axial Arms 3x scope.
Field Agent Grip is always great for reducing recoil, and the STANAG 55 Rnd is perfect for bashing out a few more extra rounds before you have to reload.
