Warzone Pacific Season 2 will deliver a new limited-time mode called Caldera Clash that borrows heavily from the TDM game mode. Here’s everything you need to know about Caldera Clash.

With Warzone Pacific Season 2 on the horizon, fans have been eagerly anticipating news concerning map changes, and quality of life improvements such as the change to Gas mask animations.

Thanks to new official information shared by the Call of Duty team, we know that players can also expect to dive into a brand new TDM style mode called Caldera Clash during Warzone Pacific Season 2.

It’s not often that we see traditional multiplayer gameplay elements make their way to Call of Duty’s battle royale. This new Warzone mode developed by High Moon Studios and Beenox is set to offer players a fast-paced TDM kill race experience.

Although we don’t know exactly when this limited-time mode will make its way to Warzone Pacific or for how long it will stay, the Call of Duty blog did provide a ton of information about the new game mode.

Warzone veterans will be familiar with the Caldera Clash concept as Clash on Verdansk ’84 and Warzone Rumble are two previous modes that share similarities with the LTM.

Warzone Caldera Clash rules

Caldera Clash will divide Warzone lobbies into two teams of 48 players. Operators will be grouped up into quads to fit the battle royale format. The action will take off at a quick pace as players drop into Caldera with their Custom Loadout.

Weapons will not be exclusive to Vanguard, which will allow players to use any weapon from Modern Warfare to Vanguard. Much like TDM, both teams of 48 will battle it out to reach a score limit with each kill counting as one point.

Warzone Season 2 PDC

This is far from your traditional battle royale as special power-ups will be available across Caldera in addition to Contracts, Buy Stations, and two new events called Double Point zones and Bonus Point crates.

We’ll be sure to share more details about the new features once they come to light. Early signs point toward Caldera Clash being a great way to level up weapons in Warzone.
