Popular Warzone 2 streamer Joseph ‘JoeWo’ Wohala claims that the long-awaited one-shot kill Sniper Rifles are coming to the battle royale in Season 3. The pro player discussed the weapon change as well as a potential movement buff during a recent stream.

The Season 2 Reloaded update has only just arrived on March 15, yet top Warzone 2 players are constantly looking forward to what’s next. The Call of Duty team already teased the arrival of Warzone 2 Ranked Play and Plunder beyond Season 2, but streamer JoeWo has provided even more details about Season 3.

During one of the “movement king’s” streams, JoeWo discusses some of the exciting new additions that he claims are arriving in Season 3. While chatting with his squad, he claims that one-shot Sniper Rifles and a movement buff could be coming as early as Warzone 2 Season 3.

Currently, Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded allows players to get a hold of a limited-time one-shot Sniper Rifle thanks to a St. Patrick’s Day event. However, plenty of players speculated that this limited-time inclusion was meant to test the feature, before bringing it back permanently.

In a stream on March 16, JoeWo hinted at a return to form for Warzone 2 in Season 3. As the topic of one-shot Snipers arises, JoeWo claimed that “they’re coming back” in Season 3.

The discussion continued with more talk of Season 3 additions and one of his teammates asked about Warzone 2 Ranked Play, to which JoeWo replied: “I don’t know if that’ll be then, but guaranteed for sure Snipers.”

Players have long since called for the addition of one-shot Snipers in Warzone 2, and it seems as though the devs could answer that call with Season 3.

That’s not all, as the streamer went on to divulge additional information that should please Warzone 2 players. JoeWo also mentioned potential movement buffs that may be on the way.

Following the talk of one-shot Snipers, JoeWo added that players can expect “movement fluidity” adjustments. According to the streamer, this entails a smoother experience when transitioning between movements like running and diving.

We’ll have to wait and see if these rumored changes come to fruition as JoeWo doesn’t name a source in the above clip. The streamer is heard saying, “that’s what they said,” potentially referring to the devs.
