Warzone 2 expert IceManIsaac has shown off a brand-new Battle Rifle loadout that is statistically more effective than the meta RPK that has dominated Al Mazrah so far.

Warzone 2 players are always looking to find the next meta weapon, and the battle royale sequel has brought some incredibly strong options since it launched at the end of 2022. The Fennec 45 has been the go-to SMG, while the Victus XMR has ruled the Sniper Rifle class.

But although there’s plenty of solid choices in Warzone 2, the RPK has been the undisputed king of Al Mazrah, with many experts agreeing that the LMG is the best gun in the game thanks to its impressive range and magazine size.

Now, Warzone 2 streamer and YouTuber IceManIsaac has discovered a TAQ-V that he believes beats the RPK both on paper and in practice.

When comparing the stats of the two guns on sym.gg, Isaac found that the TAQ-V Battle Rifle kills 75ms faster than its rival when hitting chest shots, and is consistently faster on every part of the body other than the stomach.

In, fact when it comes to headshots, the TAQ shreds 80ms quicker, making it “significantly better” than what many consider to be Warzone 2’s best weapon. It doesn’t stop there either, as the streamer found that the Battle Rifle is also superior when it comes to reload speed, ADS times, and sprint-to-fire speed.

IceManIsaac then proved the gun has the edge over the RPK by breaking his personal Warzone 2 kill record in his first match running it. Check out the loadout below:

IceManIsaac’s best TAQ-V loadout in Warzone 2

  • Muzzle: Bore-490
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity

The YouTuber went for the Bore-490 Muzzle and Commando Foregrip to improve both horizontal and verticle recoil control, as well as general stability to ensure the TAQ-V is just as laser-accurate as the RPK.

Then, he added 50 Round Drums for extra ammo capacity, loaded with 7.62 High Velocity rounds. This ammo type improves the bullet velocity by 300ms, without any of the ADS drawbacks that come from using a Barrel.

Last up is the Aim OP-V4 Optic for an extremely accurate scope that makes the TAQ-V deadly at long range.

So, if you’re tired of the RPK meta that has taken over Warzone 2, this TAQ-V setup is the perfect way to mix things up without your performance suffering.
