Warzone 2 master reveals perfect Intervention support loadout

Looking for a great Warzone 2 SMG build to compliment your one-shot Sniper loadout? Metaphor believes he’s found the perfect match.

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to guns in Warzone 2, especially since the Season 3 update opened up the meta thanks to the brand-new weapons and buffs and nerfs.

The return of one-shot Snipers may not be pleasing everyone, but many are getting to grips with the explosive ammunition and creating some pretty powerful Sniper builds that one-shot with ease.

That said, a Sniper isn’t the most versatile weapon, so players will often need a good support Assault Rifle or SMG. Luckily, Warzone 2 content creator Metaphor has revealed the SMG build he’s been using to complement his one-shot Intervention loadout.

The SMG Metaphor claims is “so good” and never fails him is the Vaznev-9k. The Warzone 2 expert uses the weapon as a Sniper support, performing at both medium and short ranges. Here’s the full build.

Metaphor’s Warzone 2 Vaznev-9k loadout

Barrel: SA Response III
Laser: FSS OLE-Laser
Stock: Broadside FCT
Rear Grip: True-TAC Grip
Ammunition: 9mm Overpressured +P

First off, Metaphor opts for the SA Response III for added bullet velocity, recoil control, damage range, and hip fire accuracy when things get a bit too close for comfort.

Next, both the FSS OLE-Laser and the Broadside FCT stock help to give the build more mobility with increased aim down sight, sprint-to-fire, sprint, and crouch movement speeds.

To further increase mobility, the True-TAC Grip also increases sprint to fire and aim down sight speeds, allowing you to dominate in close quarters.

As this loadout is mainly for Solos, Metaphor goes with the 9mm Overpressured +P ammunition over the extended magazine to inflict enemies with target flinch and make them miss.

Metaphor pairs this loadout with the Intervention Sniper, so it’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a good Sniper support weapon.
