Here are the best attachments to use in every category for Call of Duty’s Warzone 2 according to stats expert WhosImmortal.

Building the best loadouts possible is an essential part of the Warzone experience, as while you may not get the opportunity to get a Loadout Drop every game, even obtaining your meta primary weapon can prove massively important when aiming for victory in Al Mazrah.

If you’re struggling to figure out which attachments are best for your loadouts, luckily Warzone content creator WhosImmortal has broken down the best attachments in the game.

So, here are the best attachments to use in every category for Warzone 2, according to Warzone stats expert WhosImmortal.

Best attachments in every category for Warzone 2

Best Muzzle attachment in Warzone 2

  • Polarfire-S

The Polarfire-S is a great attachment in Warzone 2 that will improve your weapon’s bullet velocity, damage range, recoil smoothness, and sound suppression.

This is at the cost of aim down sight speed and aiming stability, but the pros outweigh the cons here, as other attachments can balance out the loss of handling and mobility.

Best Barrel attachment in Warzone 2

WhosImmortal believes there’s no true best option in the Barrel attachment category, but he does say that it’s important to match the pros of the Barrel to how you would like the weapon to perform.

For example, if you’d like more range and damage, a larger Barrel is recommended, while if you’re looking for a more close-range build, a smaller Barrel is likely to provide better mobility at the cost of range.

Best Laser attachment in Warzone 2

  • FFS OLE-V Laser
  • VLK LZR 7MW

According to WhosImmortal, both the FFS OLE Laser and the VLK LZR 7MW are the two best options for the Laser attachment category in Warzone 2.

They both have the same stats, providing aim-down-sight speed, aiming stability, and sprint-to-fire speed at the expense of the Laser being visible in ADS, which isn’t a bad trade-off at all.

Best Optics in Warzone 2

  • Close range: Cronen Mini Pro/Slimline Pro
  • Medium range: VLK 4.0 Optic/Schlager 3.4x
  • Long range: SP-X 80 6.6x

For the Optic category in Warzone 2, the Warzone expert believes it’s largely up to preference. However, WhosImmortal points out some Optics that he recommends players give a go depending on whether they would like an Optic for close, medium, or long-range.

Best Stock attachment in Warzone 2

Similarly to the Barrels, WhosImmortal states that there’s no real “best option” in the Stocks category for Warzone 2. Rather, players will need to pick up the Stock that works best for their build.

WhosImmortal even states that he doesn’t use Stocks in his five attachment setups, as the cons can be “a little bit rough.”

Best Comb attachment in Warzone 2

While Combs aren’t the most important attachment category, only being available on certain guns, there are a few that WhosImmortal believes can be useful. The Combs that increase sprint to fire and aim down sight speeds when you need some balancing can be great, especially the ones which “don’t hurt your recoil.”

So, depending on your build, adding a Comb to increase handling and balance from an attachment that may have decreased your ADS speeds can be very useful.

Best Rear Grip attachment in Warzone 2

For Rear Grips in Warzone 2, the best ones are the attachments that help control and only reduce your stability, which you can easily balance out elsewhere. This is exactly what the STIP-40 Rear Grip does in Warzone 2.

However, Whos Immortal does state that if you’re going for a more close-range build, the Rear Grip that helps sprint to fire speeds at the expense of recoil can also be worthwhile.

Best Bolt attachment in Warzone 2

Exclusive to Snipers and Marksman Rifles, the best Bolt attachments in Warzone 2 are the ones that increase your rechambering speed, as it will make your fire rate a little faster.

Best Magazine attachment in Warzone 2

While some weapons in Warzone 2 have inherently large magazine sizes, such as the PDSW and most of the LMGs, a lot of weapons will benefit from a larger mag.

In squad-based modes, you may be needing to take down multiple enemies with one mag without the time to reload, making a large mag essential. So, depending on the weapon you’re using, you may want to add a larger magazine size.

WhosImmortal does recommend that players go for the “middle” Magazine attachment, so if there’s a small, medium, or large magazine option, go for the medium one to balance out mobility and handling.

Best Ammunition types in Warzone 2

  • High Velocity

WhosImmortal calls the Ammunition category in Warzone 2 one of the “most important” in the game, as you can gain “so much” from them.

The Warzone stats expert says that the High Velocity Ammunition is “by far” the best option, as it increases bullet velocity at a small loss of damage range. This means your bullets will travel faster, making long ranged engagements much easier for you to hit your target.

Further, they also explain that you can tune the High Velocity Ammunition to increase its damage range and bullet velocity further with “no real cons there whatsoever.”

Best Underbarrel attachment in Warzone 2

  • Lockgrip Precision-40

Lastly, for the Underbarrel, WhosImmortal believes the best are those that help with recoil. Any of the Underbarrels that help with recoil control, steadiness, stabilization, and smoothness are all great options for your loadout.

One that the content creator points out is the Lockgrip Precision-40, which helps with hip fire accuracy, recoil steadiness, and aim walking steadiness at the cost of aim down sight speed, which can be tuned to increase ADS speed to counteract the con.
