Warzone 2 expert discovers STB 556 loadout that kills faster than the Fennec
A Warzone 2 content creator has found an STB 556 build that outshines the Fennec 45, making it a better option for close-range engagements.
Warzone 2 has a lot of options when it comes to weaponry in Season 1, with many Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and Sniper Rifles to accompany whichever playstyle you choose to take on.
Those who prefer to play aggressively usually go for close-range, mobility-based weapons like those in the SMG category. One of the most popular weapons in Warzone 2 Season 1 has been the Fennec 45.
The Fennec has been the go-to close-range weapon in Warzone 2, but that might change as Warzone expert WarsZ has discovered a “close range STB class,” that they are claiming has a “faster TTK then the Fennec.”

- Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901 Barrel
- Muzzle: Harbinger D20
- Magazine: 42 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
- Comb: Bruen TS-30 Comb
For this Warzone 2 close-range STB 556 loadout, all of the attachments make this Assault Rifle much more efficient in close-quarters combat.
The 16.5″ Bruen S901 Barrel is the STB 556’s shortest barrel, increasing aim down sight and movement speed. To counter the loss of bullet velocity and recoil control, the Harbinger D20 muzzle will bring some needed bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil smoothness.
To further increase mobility and handling, the Bruen Q900 Grip will provide a boost to sprint to fire and aimed down sight speed, making this STB loadout more like an SMG.
Finally, the Bruen TS-30 Comb balances the loss of recoil control and accuracy by increasing the weapon’s aiming stability and recoil steadiness, while the 42 Round Mag allows you to unload a healthy clip to take down multiple enemies.
WarsZ claims that this STB 556 loadout has a TTK of “486ms,” which is incredibly fast. For those looking for a great Sniper Support weapon, this may just be your pick if you like the feel of the STB but wish it had better close-range versatility.
