The Warzone 2 Massive Resurgence mode is back after the devs decided to remove the newly introduced mode in Season 3 due to an issue with circle behavior.

Warzone 2 Season 3 brought a refreshing update to the game, with new weapons, buffs and nerfs, one-shot Snipers, and more.

The new update also introduced a new mode to the game, Massive Resurgence, which takes the popular mode to Al Mazrah as opposed to the smaller Ashika Island.

In Warzone 2’s Massive Resurgence, the map is made smaller as the gas has already carved out a zone for players to land in. This allows for faster-paced games and more engagements, as players are forced into a smaller area on Al Mazrah.

Upon entering matches of Massive Resurgence, players noticed a bug with the zone, as it forced players into the gas instead of the safe area, leaving them to die before the game even gets started.

The devs responded to the issue, announcing the mode’s removal from the game on April 18, while they investigate the issue.

In the announcement made on April 18, 2023, Infinity Ward said they “have disabled the Massive Resurgence mode in Warzone 2.0 while [they] investigate an issue with irregular circle behavior.”

The devs then moved quickly to fix the issue as later that same day they announced that the mode made a return. Following the quick resolution, the Massive Resurgence mode is now active in Warzone 2.

Players can now enjoy the new Season 3 offering and load up into matches of Warzone 2’s Massive Resurgence.
