Call of Duty players are quickly realizing that the Type 100 may soon dethrone the MP-40 for the title of best Submachine Gun in Vanguard.
Upon Vanguard’s release, players immediately flocked to the MP-40 as the preferred Submachine Gun. The Type 100 may have it beat in terms of raw power. Equipped with the correct attachments, this weapon has the potential to two-shot kill your enemies.
Several Call of Duty streamers and personalities have showcased just how deadly the Type 100 is.
Vanguard’s Two-shot Type 100 Loadout
Streamer RaidAway is one of the earliest players to discover how deadly the weapon can be. In the video below you can watch him run rampant with the Type 100.
Vanguard players who are eager to test this loadout for themselves can jump to the end of the video where he runs through the recommended weapon attachments. Here’s a quick rundown.
- Muzzle: M1929 Silencer
- Barrel: Shiraishi Precision
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Warubachi Skeletal
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
- Magazine: .30 Russian Short 30 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Subsonic
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
- Kit: Fully Loaded
This isn’t the first occasion of broken weapons appearing in Vanguard. During its launch week, many players complained about an STG 44 loadout that similarly killed enemies in two shots.
Suffice it to say, most Vanguard players are upset at the fact that Assault Rifles and Submachine Guns have two-shot kill potential.
As far as the Type 100 is concerned, there is a pretty big catch to producing the two-shot kill. In order to perform a two-shot kill, players must target an enemy’s chest.
In the video below, you can clearly see the Type 100 eliminating a target with two shots to the chest from some distance.
Weapon balancing has been a hot topic of conversation lately. Vanguard is still in its early days and we can expect the weapon meta to be affected by future patches.
