With Vanguard Season 1 right around the corner, more news has surfaced including the arrival of two new maps.

December 8 is fast approaching and Vanguard players just received an enormous amount of information regarding Season 1. The devs confirmed the introduction of two free weapons, a new Operator, Multiplayer modes, and most importantly two maps.

The bevy of new content is sure to excite Vanguard players everywhere. However, the one piece of information that is generating the most excitement is the inclusion of a yet to be revealed fan-favorite map

Which maps are coming to Vanguard Season 1?

Vanguard launched with a whopping 16 Multiplayer maps and 4 Champion Hill maps for a total of 20 maps. Considering Sledgehammer spoiled Vanguard players with several maps at launch, some may be surprised to see we’re getting two new maps so soon.

Ultimately, receiving new maps is a great thing for the Vanguard community. It helps keep the Multiplayer experience feeling fresh. The Call of Duty devs promised that one of the two new maps is “a Pacific-inspired take on a fan-favorite classic Call of Duty map.”

This statement has led many to speculate which map is going to make a return. The quote is leading players to believe that an iconic map is going to get a Pacific-themed revamp, much like Vanguard’s iteration of Shipment.

Vanguard players are already beginning to imagine what their favorite map would look like in Vanguard. The most popular guesses seem to be Terminal, Rust, Nuketown, and Shoot House. Considering how highly regarded each of these maps are, Vanguard players would be lucky to receive even one of them.

When more details involving the two maps are revealed, check back in for an update. In the meantime, CharlieINTEL has got you covered for Season 1’s December 8 launch.
