TrueGameData reveals best Warzone Perks to use instead of “useless” Ghost
With UAVs much harder to come across in Warzone Pacific Season 2, stats expert TrueGameData called Ghost “useless” and revealed the Perks you should use instead.
Ghost has always been a crutch Perk in Warzone as, without one, you’ll be immediately hunted down by players rocking UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. That changed with Warzone Pacific Season 2, where Raven Software changed up Vanguard Royale to separate it from the standard Battle Royale mode.
UAVs have been removed from Buy Stations, and with Heartbeats being banned anyway, TrueGameData has called Ghost “useless” and recommended some other Perks you should use instead.
TrueGameData best Warzone Perks
Vanguard Royale
- Perk 1: Cold Blooded
- Perk 2: Tempered / Restock / High Alert
- Perk 3: Combat Scout
Cold Blooded is the obvious choice for Perk 1 as it counters both the High Alert and Combat Scout Perks, which are extremely common in Season 2’s open Perk meta.
TrueGameData explained that “you don’t need Ghost anymore, pretty much at all,” so there’s now a wide range of options you can use in the second slot.
He said that changes to Armor Plates mean that you’ll always get at least 75HP of Armor back for each plate when using Tempered, so it’s an extremely strong choice. Also, with how powerful Stims are now, Restock will keep you stocked up where “if you master Stims, you can win so many fights with movement.”
Hight Alert is strong, but he said that it’s often countered because of how many players are running Cold Blooded in the Vanguard meta. And finally, Combat Scout is excellent for tracking targets running through the dense vegetation, and he recommends using Taped Grip on your Vanguard guns to replace Amped.
He said that aggressive players could also use Double Time (Perk 1) and Tracker (Perk 3) instead, but those above are more well-rounded.
Battle Royale

TrueGameData revealed an incredibly powerful combination of Perks for regular Battle Royale mode. You essentially get legal wallhacks, where you can beam enemies through walls.
Cold Blooded offers the same benefits it does in Vanguard Royale, but it’s Restock and Combat Scout that really make this loadout come together.
Equipping Snapshot Grenades will allow you to mark enemies through walls, then you can use Combat Scout to keep tracking them. Pairing this with an LMG with FMJ rounds makes the lobby even better.
But if you’re looking for a more traditional set-up, he recommends the Vanguard Royale set of Perks but with Ghost in the second slot.
