Professional Call of Duty player, Temp, officially joins the LA Thieves as the final main roster player for the CDL.

In an announcement today, LA Thieves has confirmed the final main player for their roster, Donovan “Temp” Laroda. This comes after a tease in a YouTube video yesterday announcing JKAP as the team’s head coach.

You can see during an exchange between JKAP and Muddawg, Temp’s name slips out ahead of the planned announcement, stating, “We have some strong personalities on the team. With Temp and with Slasher, especially.”

Temp joined the LA Thieves after his departure from the New York Subliners shortly after the Modern Warfare season in September. The team finished fifth in the regular-season standings and made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs with Temp playing alongside Mack, Zoomaa, Attach, and Accuracy.

He now joins the CDL’s newest competitive team, owned by esports legend and 100 Thieves owner Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag.

With Temp joining the LA Thieves roster, this now means the 2021 Black Ops Cold War roster is set for the team. The full roster is as follows:

  • Austin ‘SlasheR’ Liddicoat
  • Donovan ‘Temp’ Laroda
  • Kenny ‘Kenny’ Williams
  • Thomas ‘TJHaLy’ Haly
  • Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan (Substitute)
  • Jordan ‘JKAP’ Kaplan (Head Coach)

Perhaps this will mark the beginning of a promising season for Temp, who has proven himself throughout his years playing competitive Call of Duty among teams like Denial, Echo Fox, and Envy.

He is currently the youngest Call of Duty recipient of an XGAMES medal, which he got alongside TJHaLy, who he now reunites with as a teammate on the LA Thieves roster. Temp was also one of the 8 2019 CWL all-star players.

After a 13-17 season record with the Subliners, this season will be a huge chance for Temp to showcase his full potential as a professional Call of Duty player.
