Syndicate ridicules the Warzone anti-cheat

YouTuber and streamer Tom “Syndicate” Cassel ran into a cheater on stream and began to openly mock the anti-cheat in Activision’s Call of Duty: Warzone.

Season 1 of Call of Duty’s: Warzone has been interesting, to say the least. The game was recently integrated with Black Ops Cold War’s weapon arsenal, which resulted in countless game-breaking bugs, multiple iterations of the stim glitch, and an insanely overpowered DMR, which dominated the game for weeks.

New in the fight to improve Warzone is a double-down on Raven’s effort on anti-cheat, touting over 60,000 bans in the last ban wave alone. Unfortunately, even with the recent effort, it has proven to not be enough in the eyes of Syndicate.

During one of his recent live streams on Twitch, he managed to run into a cheater in a solo game of Warzone. Shocked at what he was witnessing, he mentions “Didn’t (Activision) just put out like another tweet, being like.. we’re so proud that we’ve banned another wave (of cheaters), and we’ve stepped up our anti-cheat”.

Still stunned, he is left to do nothing but watch the cheater snipe enemies across the map with ease, hitting headshot after headshot.

Shortly after, the cheater managed to actually win the game by sniping an enemy through a wall.

Hopefully, in the future, things go smoother for Syndicate and the rest of the community. Following the most recent Warzone ban wave, players have seen a decrease in hackers overall. As with every ban wave, though, things start to ramp-up again in the following weeks.

Perhaps, we will see more anti-cheat measures added when Black Ops Cold War & Warzone season 2 drops on November 25, 2021. Until then, we can only hope.
