During today’s Infinity Ward beta stream, Infinity Ward has revealed that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will have Supply Drops. According to the image shown, the tiers of drops are exactly the same as Black Ops 3: there are common drops and rare drops.
In Infinite Warfare MP, Infinity Ward has introduced a brand new Weapon Crafting system. This system allows players to create prototype weapons of four different rarities: Common, Rare, Legendary, Epic. In order to craft a weapon, players need to use Salvage — the in-game crafting currency. Players earn Salvage through playing the game. The more you play, the more Salvage you earn; in addition, players also earn Salvage through daily login bonuses. More information on the Weapon Crafting system is available in the new video here.
Supply Drops in Infinite Warfare include multiplayer loot, including customization options, as well as Prototype weapons. This means there are two different ways to earn prototype weapons: via Supply Drops or through directly crafting them. The Supply Drop system is through the Quartermaster, where you exchange keys for Supply Drops.
